With the mask mandate lifting on a state level, we wanted to take the time to update you on the steps we are continually taking to ensure we do everything possible to keep you & our team healthy & safe. As many of you may already know the Salt Lake City Mayor, Erin Mendenhall, held a press conference on April 7th to announce that masks will still be required to be worn in all public settings within the city. While we are beyond ready to get back to the pre pandemic salon & spa life where we get to see everyone’s smiling faces that we have missed so much; due to the nature of our business & the frequency that we come into close contact with so many in our community, we are confident that continuing to wear masks is the best thing we can do to protect our team & those visiting our salons & spas.

So much has changed this past year & we are all still coming to grips with impacts that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our businesses & personal lives. We are so grateful for each of you & your love & support has meant the world to us while we have worked to provide you with safe & relaxing services this past year. You are the life-force of our business & this is why we are continuing to take every precaution to ensure your safety while visiting the salon.

Visiting the Salon

When you arrive for your appointment, you can call the salon at 801.485.5506 for Sugarhouse or 801.364.3354 for Marmalade to check in, or enter using our front doors! Upon entering the salon our Guest relations Team will be preforming a simple screening that assess your contacts, travel & over all well-being before taking you back to our wait area while your stylist sanitizes their stations & tools.

Please come alone. We will be operating by appointment only for services so that we can ensure proper social distancing is taking place. Absolutely no family members, children, or friends will be allowed inside without an appointment.

Masks will be required to be worn above the nose by all guests & team members prior to entering the salon. We highly recommend that you bring your own as personal protective supplies are in short supply. If you do not have one with you, we have disposable masks available for a $3 fee while supplies last.

If any answers to our screening indicate recent exposure to someone with COVID-19, we will help you reschedule once the specified 10 to 14-day self-quarantine requirement has been met.

Upon entering you will be required to sanitize or wash your hands.

Maintain 6-foot social distancing guidelines with all other guests in the salon.

Guests will be seated 6-feet apart throughout their service & partitions have been installed at our shampoo bowls so that we can continue to keep you or your loved one safe

We ask for understanding while we work to address all of your needs as we have had to make some changes to the services we provide. We are delighted to still offer our complimentary stress relieving rituals in the salon, but have discontinued our hot towel facial services while masks are required to be worn.

WE LOVE OUR GUESTS! We also love to chat with you at your appointment. Please understand that conversations may be reduced to allow for social distancing, running on time, & proper sanitation.

We will not be providing our coffee, Aveda Comforting Tea, or water in salon at this time, instead we will be offering you a reusable tea bag & a to go cup so you can enjoy our Aveda Comforting Tea on the go or in the comfort of your own home starting Monday, April 12th 2021.

Retail Purchases

At this time we are providing curbside pick up for your convenience. You can email us at or or call us at either location with your order & we will bring it right out to your car upon arrival.

You can purchase products online at & get your products shipped directly to your door.

Visit us in salon, we’d love to see you! We will help you get the products you need & will sanitize it before you go! When visiting us in salon, we will need to get your full name & phone number for your purchase & ask that you please wear your mask above your nose, so that we can ensure your safety & have your proper contact information in case of an exposure,

Our Team

We will be taking the temperatures of every team member & assessing symptoms immediately upon arrival to the salon. Any team member with a fever of 100 F or above or that is experiencing symptoms will be required to go home & stay home until symptoms have subsided. Please be patient with us if we have to reschedule your appointment as it will be for yours & our team’s safety & well-being.
