Maria’s passion and enthusiasm for doing hair have been with her for as long as she can remember. She began styling friends and family early on, which inspired her to enroll in cosmetology school during high school and earn her license shortly after graduation. Although she explored other career paths over the years, she always found herself drawn back to the world of hair.
Maria was fortunate to train and work at an Aveda salon on the East Coast, where she expanded her knowledge, refined her expertise, and learned to deliver the high level of service Aveda is known for. After moving to Salt Lake City in 2018, she took a brief break from the industry due to a rotator cuff surgery, but once again felt called back to an Aveda salon. She’s thrilled to be behind the chair again and rebuilding her clientele.
Her specialties include razor-cut pixies, long layered cuts, and barbering, and she’s always eager to continue learning and growing her skill set. Maria loves helping clients find styles that reflect their personality and lifestyle — hair that looks fantastic and feels effortlessly wearable every day.
