Harley Morrison is a cosmetologist, colorist and eyelash extension specialist from Aveda Institute Provo. Harley believes that training and education are key elements in a successful career as a stylist, and she not just talking about beauty school. It’s hard work staying on the cutting edge of techniques, trends and fashion. For this reason, Harley has aligned herself within the Aveda network for many years now, and appreciates the continued professional development and support that Aveda and Landis offer. Learning from celebrity and runway stylists, platform educators, and Aveda Global Artists has not only endowed her with top-notch technique and an eye toward current trends but it’s also given her the opportunity to network with people from all over the world. “It’s very rewarding,” she says.
Harley looks forward to the daily business of the salon—creating fashion-forward hair designs and offering great care and focus to each of her guests. “It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to bring innovative ideas from Aveda advanced education programs and global events like Aveda Congress and New York Fashion Week and incorporate them into the hairstyles I create for my guests everyday. This kind of work is what I was always meant to do.”
