With role models like Vidal Sassoon, Anthony Mascolo and Maya Angelou, you can see why Anthony Morton is bent on exploring the limits of his profession. He first studied design marketing at Parsons School of Design in NYC. Then acquired a cosmetology license in 2016 and graduated with honors from the prestigious Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy. At school he was recognized as an outstanding and talented student. Always with an eye toward professional development, Anthony has also had the opportunity to take advanced haircutting and styling courses at the Sassoon Academy Santa Monica and TIGI Advanced Academy in NYC. His goal is to become a highly educated, fashion-literate stylist who is creative and maintains a caring sensibility. He says it’s a wonderful feeling to be able to “put a little pep into someone’s step while doing work I love.”
He has worked for both Regis and Aveda Salons. He appreciates that Landis Lifestyle Salon is an energetic, innovative environment that feeds his curious mind. Anthony’s designs emphasize precision haircutting and classic color techniques. He says he loves to making the world beautiful and using hairstyling as his creative outlet.
When not enjoying the artistry and inventive environment at Landis, Anthony relishes in spending time with his mom, husband and cats. He enjoys camping, snowboarding and travel. And he has a passion for animals. “They make the world a more spiritually complete place,” he says.
